Digital Product Lead

JOB SUMMARY
We are building a new department at CPM and are looking for a forward-thinking Digital Product Lead who will manage the team. You are comfortable with the inner workings of the solution, to modify the configuration as needed and provide customer-facing support. 
You bridge the gap between our customers and our engineering team. You are both the voice of the customer and the architect of customer success. You ensure technical onboarding goes smoothly and gather structured feedback from early users and translate real-world needs into actionable user stories and priorities for the developers.
You thrive in a dynamic environment, wearing both technical and strategic hats.
In this job, you play a key role in the continued development, refinement and scaling of our SaaS products that enhance the performance, efficiency and serviceability of industrial equipment.
This department is pivotal in the digital transformation across our product lines, integrating IoT, predictive analytics and AI/ML and remote monitoring capabilities to deliver smarter, connected equipment solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Internal Collaboration & Delivery Alignment
  • Lead the Digital Product Engineering & Support department
  • Work closely with developers, to clarify priorities and intended outcomes
  • Align with leadership on solution roadmap and field impact
  • Translate customer needs into detailed use cases or user stories
  • Monitor post-release adoption and iterate where needed
  • Customer Interaction & Technical Enablement
  • Guide onboarding and configuration of our SaaS solution for industrial customers
  • Act as a first-line technical contact for key customers (until a dedicated support team is in place)
  • Ensure customers achieve successful implementation and sustained usage
  • Deliver technical workshops, training, and documentation
  • Customer Insight & Solution Design
  • Capture customer feedback and field insights in a structured way
  • Define and refine solution scope and requirements based on actual usage
  • Prioritize features and improvements based on value and feasibility
  • Support validation of early versions with pilot customers

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • 5+ years in a technical, product oriented role
  • Experience in SaaS products and launching early-stage SaaS platforms
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with both developers, customers and stakeholders
  • Comfortable leading technical discussions, writing structured requirements
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision making skills
  • Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus

PREFERRED SKILLS
  • Experience in industrial/IIoT or control systems environments
  • Proficiency with tools like Jira, Confluence, Figma, Google Analytics, or similar
  • Familiarity in AWS
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and containerization (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Security-conscious development practices (e.g. ISO 27001, IEC 62443 context)
