Salesforce Solution Architect

If you’re an experienced Salesforce professional looking for a role where you can build an org “the right way from the start,” let’s talk. We are a growing team that just launched Sales Cloud and Account Engagement in a new implementation of Salesforce, and are in the middle of launching Service and Field Services in upcoming months. We have low technical debt and lots of room for building. For most projects on our backlog, we’re building from scratch instead of reworking old
The Salesforce Solution Architect is responsible for managing and enhancing the CPM Salesforce platform for our Sales, Marketing and Service teams.  Using best practices and industry standards, the Salesforce Solution Architect will develop, test and deploy new features and customizations to improve and enhance the way we work at CPM.  You will be responsible for the security, performance and reliability of the platform and provide training, support, and guidance to end-users and stakeholders on how to use Salesforce effectively and efficiently. Reporting to and partnering with the Salesforce Product Owner, you will have a lot of freedom and ownership over the solutions you build.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Work closely with business leaders, IT staff, and external consultants to understand the business requirements and translate them into Salesforce solutions
  • Run project management of solutions from requirements discovery, through quality assurance, user acceptance testing, new feature communications and deployment.
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy customizations, integrations, workflows, reports, dashboards, and apps using Salesforce tools and best practices
  • Perform admin tasks on our org as needed like manage user profiles, roles, permissions, security settings, and data access

  • Monitor system performance, usage, and errors
  • Serve as a liaison between the Salesforce development team, non-CRM internal IT resources, development partners, and business users
  • Coordinate your projects with our Governance Committee, an established group that meets regularly to discuss priorities and report back to their respective business units
  • Challenge Salesforce Product Owner and business stakeholders on best practices, with a preference for standard over custom functionality where appropriate and preventing future technical debt.
