Under general direction, the Trainer is responsible for facilitating, coordinating, and conducting Training Services for customer of the Engineered Solutions business unit within CPM.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop, control and distribute training materials as needed.
  • Discuss training needs with customers and work with sales team to develop offering and proposals.
  • Coordinate with global team of Project Managers, Project Engineers, Technical Sales personnel, Field Service personnel, R&D personnel, QAQC personnel and various other CPM/Engineered Solutions technical resources to execute training offerings with customers.
  • Schedule training sessions with customers.
  • Project manage training efforts from conception through training offering completion by meeting contract timelines, tracking and minimizing project costs, assuring high value presentation materials, and having thorough documentation of executed training.
  • Provide training for customers in maintenance, installation, operation, and startup of processes.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS
  • Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
  • Minimum 3 years related experience.
  • Excellent communication skills - Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, customers, vendors/fabricators.
  • Respond to requests and inquiries from internal and external customers.
  • Understand and follow oral and written instructions.
  • Knowledge of computers and applications, such as Microsoft Office.
  • English spoken as 1st language
WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Approximately 75% of time spent in the office environment; Ability to travel internationally and domestically 25% of the time.
  • Office environment conditions are normal for an office environment.
  • Plant environment conditions include some exposure to chemicals, hazardous materials, and noise, potential work at heights, in confined spaces, and in inclement weather conditions.
  • Must complete safety training within 1 year after hire date and each subsequent year.
