JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Material Processing: Utilize test center equipment and instruments to process customer materials and identify the most suitable equipment to meet customer needs.
- Sample Testing: Conduct sample testing, including logging samples, setting up test equipment, performing tests, collecting data for reports, and cleaning test equipment.
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and develop equipment and processing solutions as needed.
- Customer Support: Serve as a resource for processing and equipment inquiries from internal and external customers.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a tidy and organized test center and laboratory through ongoing housekeeping.
- Maintenance: Ensure the cleanliness and functionality of the test center, lab areas, equipment, and instrumentation.
- Report Preparation: Prepare test reports promptly, documenting the purpose, procedure, data, analysis, and conclusions.
- Stock Management: Maintain the supply of stock materials in the test center and laboratory.
- Material Disposal: Regularly dispose of used test materials.
- Additional Tasks: Perform other tasks as assigned by the test center manager or other management staff.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to engage in hands-on tasks regularly.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective time management skills to meet required deadlines.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects.
- Professional interaction with co-workers and customers, presenting a professional image.
- Ability to work well with others and contribute as a team member.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including general knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office applications, and Outlook.
- Willingness to travel.
