Job Summary
The Aftermarket Sales Support Intern will assist the Aftermarket Sales team with data-driven activities that support asset visibility, parts usage analysis, and revenue modeling. This role focuses on improving the accuracy, completeness, and usability of aftermarket asset and parts data to enable better sales planning and customer support. The intern will gain hands-on experience working with Microsoft platform, CRM (Salesforce), and sales data while supporting critical aftermarket initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Asset Identification & Auditing
    • Support the identification, validation, and auditing of installed assets across customer sites
      • ES
      • IS
      • Thermal & Extrusion
    • Assist in reconciling asset records across internal systems (ERP, CRM, spreadsheets, etc.)
    • Help maintain accurate asset master data, including serial numbers, configurations, and customer associations, updates to web-portal
  • Parts Usage & Revenue Modeling Support
    • Assist with analyzing historical parts usage tied to specific assets or asset families
    • Support basic revenue modeling and forecasting activities for aftermarket parts
  • Aftermarket Data Entry & Reconciliation
    • Perform data entry and cleanup related to aftermarket assets, parts, and service records
    • Support reconciliation of sales, parts, and asset data between systems
    • Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, or errors and escalate findings to the team
  • General Sales Operations Support
    • Assist with ad hoc data analysis and reporting requests
    • Support documentation of processes and data standards as needed
    • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and Operations teams on assigned projects
Qualifications
Required
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, filters, pivot tables preferred)
  • Ability to work with data accurately and consistently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
