Job Duties
To ensure safety in this role, employees are required to wear safety glasses and safety shoes when working in this area. These items protect you from eye and foot injuries that result from debris and heavy objects. Employees are responsible for using, maintaining, and inspecting their PPE for damage before each shift. Any missing or damaged PPE should be reported to their supervisor and replaced.
Job Duties
- Operate SECO / ECM furnace
- Build loads by weight & height
- Test hardness of dies
- Transport dies to next process
- Load / unload dies in washer (prep for heat treat)
- Transport dies from queue area
- Operating overhead cranes & hoist systems safely
- Operating forklift safely
- Must possess basic math skills to include adding, subtracting, multiplication, division
- Other duties as assigned
- Will train in house for the position
- Must be willing to work overtime if needed
