Assistant Buyer

About CPM

CPM supplies process equipment for the animal feed, biomass, oilseed, and waste processing industries, from design to production and everything in between. We work together with our colleagues in the US and Asia, as well as with agents and mill builders worldwide. Key Responsibilities

As an Assistant Buyer, you will be based in Zaandam, where you will provide administrative support to the Purchasing Department. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Checking placed orders in the ERP system, and ensuring that they are in accordance with the requirements.
  • Proactively monitoring and communicating delivery times.
  • Keeping data files up to date.
  • Resolving complaints about the delivery of goods.
  • Providing input for supplier evaluations.
  • Arrange country of origin certificates for recieved orders
 

Requirements

  • Minimum of an MBO degree.
  • A technical background is beneficial. 
  • Proactive, accurate, strong administrative skills, and methodical work approach.
  • Ambitious personality with a desire to grow into a Medior buyer position in the future. 
  • Good communication skills and proficiency in both Dutch and English.
  • Quick to learn new systems. Experience with SAP Business One or a similar ERP system is a plus.
  • You are already living in the Netherlands, with working and living rights in the Netherlands.
