CPM is seeking a Global Vice President of Finance for our Process Solutions business; one of three business units within CPM.  This role is the finance business partner to the Process Solutions President, and the management team.  The role is also part of the Finance Leadership team, reporting directly to CPM’s Chief Financial Officer.  This is a senior level position that is responsible for the full finance function for the Process Solutions business unit worldwide.  As we continue our transformational growth story, we are also transforming our finance function to be a best-in-class organization.  Finance will focus on partnering with the operational teams to drive differentiated growth while also protecting the value of CPM. The right candidate will be a strong leader of global finance teams with a proven track record of successful collaboration across functional departments and geographical boundaries.

Job Specifications:
  • Location: Blaine MN or remotely out of Chicago IL
  • Travel: Expected trave up to 30%
  • Reports to: Chief Financial Officer

Required Qualifications:
  • 15+ years of extensive experience in finance roles with increasing responsibility
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills that enhance collaboration and clarity
  • Optimistic mindset with excellent interpersonal skills in a team environment
  • Motivated self-starter with ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
  • Inspires, motivates, and develops high-performing finance teams across multiple regions.
  • Demonstrates intellectual curiosity with a desire to learn more and how to do things better
  • Strategic thinker and business partner focused on aligning financial strategies with business objectives and driving continuous improvement


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience leading a global finance team, providing direction and oversight of all deliverables while fostering talent development and building high-performing teams
  • Experience in Business Partnering, providing strategic financial insights and collaborating with teams to turn insights into action.
  • Experience working in a complex, global, matrixed organization
  • Experience in manufacturing/assembly environment
  • Strong understanding of standard costing, having utilized global ERP systems (CPM uses SAP Business One)
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Master’s degree in business management or finance
  • CMA or CPA
  • Experience with advanced financial planning and reporting tools such as Oracle or Adaptive Planning
  • Experience developing long-range strategic planning initiatives
  • Experience writing executive level presentations, concisely summarizing financial & operational results and required corrective actions

Primary Responsibilities:
  • As a key member of Process Solutions Management Team, serve as a trusted advisor to the Process Solutions President and Leadership Team
  • As a member of the Finance Leadership Team, actively contribute to shaping financial strategies, driving organizational goals, and fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability within the broader finance function
  • Drive the business unit’s annual budget, and quarterly forecast processes, driving accountability within the business unit by aligning operational KPIs to the intended financial outcomes
  • Drive a consistent cadence of operational performance meetings, measuring operational KPIs and financial metrics, providing insights, driving accountability and ensuring countermeasures and action plans are identified and monitored
  • Collaborate with sales teams to identify opportunities that drive profitable revenue growth and enhance market presence.
  • Work closely with manufacturing teams to implement efficiency improvements and cost-saving measures that enhance profitability
  • Operate globally and cross-functionally, embracing standardization and best practice sharing across not only Process Solutions, but all of CPM 
  • Spearhead initiatives to enhance cash flow management, ensuring financial stability and optimizing working capital across the organization
  • Protect the value of CPM by effectively overseeing Process Solutions accounting team, ensuring accuracy and an effective internal controls environment
  • Direct month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes for the business unit
  • Direct foreign statutory audits, reporting and income tax compliance leveraging local advisors
  • Supervise compliance with foreign regulatory obligations through local CPM teams and local advisors
  • Support global financial statement audit under US GAAP
  • Mentor and develop the finance team to enhance skills and drive high-performance culture.
