Job Summary:
The Application Support Specialist is responsible for overseeing and managing the end-to-end implementation of SAP Business One solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP Business One functionalities, and the ability to work closely with clients to ensure that their business processes are effectively supported and optimized. The Application Support Specialist will coordinate with various stakeholders, working with a team made up of business users and IT resources, and ensure that the projects are delivered successfully.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Support:
  • Provide timely and effective support to end-users, addressing inquiries and resolving technical issues related to applications.
  • Utilize remote assistance tools, ticketing systems, and other resources to troubleshoot and diagnose problems.
2. Problem Resolution:
  • Investigate and analyze application-related issues, identifying root causes and implementing permanent solutions.
  • Collaborate with development teams to report and resolve bugs, glitches, and other software-related issues.
3. Team Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor a teams of business users, IT professionals, and other project staff.
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities, and ensure effective team collaboration.
  • Foster a positive team environment and promote professional development.
4. Solution Design and Configuration:
  • Oversee the design and configuration of SAP Business One to meet requirements.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants to ensure that the solution aligns with business processes.
  • Ensure proper integration with other systems and data sources.
5. Testing and Quality Assurance:
  • Develop and execute testing plans to validate the SAP Business One implementation.
  • Identify and address any issues or defects during the testing phase.
  • Ensure the solution meets quality standards and business expectations.
6. Training and Support:
  • Develop and deliver training programs for end-users and client teams.
  • Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure that users are effectively utilizing the SAP Business One system.
7. Documentation:
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including design specifications, user manuals, and training materials.
  • Ensure that documentation is clear, accurate, and up-to-date.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in SAP Business One implementations is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of SAP Business One modules, functionalities, and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with clients and internal teams.
  • SAP Business One certification.
Working Conditions:
  • Full-time position.
  • Travel up to 60% may be required to company locations.
  • Flexible working hours may be required to meet project deadlines or accommodate different time zones.
