JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Process Engineer at CPM, you will play a key role in the development, implementation, and optimization of production processes and machinery across global markets. You’ll support sales teams, contribute to product innovation, and ensure successful installation and commissioning of production lines worldwide. This role requires a hands-on problem solver with strong technical expertise, flexibility, and a passion for international collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and manage process variables to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Develop tools to assess energy usage, machine lifespan, and operational costs.
  • Specify raw material compositions and develop machine standards.
  • Support area managers in selling complete production lines with technical expertise.
  • Test and commission complex installations at customer sites.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve process issues during international installations.
  • Advise on product and process improvements based on customer feedback.
  • Provide process expertise for product innovation and technical claims.
 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Process Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of process control, machine operation, and raw material behavior.
  • Experience with CPM products and their applications.
  • Ability to operate and troubleshoot various process machines.
  • Commercial insight and customer-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in office automation systems.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, German, and French.
  • Willingness to travel internationally and work independently on-site.
  • Flexibility to handle delays and extended stays abroad.
  • Strong creativity, improvisation skills, and adaptability in diverse cultural environments.
